Company of Biologists Workshop - Fish Muscle Growth and Repair: Models Linking Biomedicine and Aquaculture
26-29 June 2011
26-29 June 2011
Aquaculture will be part of the solution to the catastrophic decline in global fish stocks. Fish are increasingly popular as models for study of both muscle growth and disease. The aim of this Workshop is to bring together researchers working on basic and applied biomedical aspects of fish muscle biology with those studying muscle from the perspective of aquaculture. We hope to define mutually important research questions and stimulate cooperative studies.
